ricochet- When something ricochets, it hits a surface and bounces back from it.

fragment- A fragment of something is a small piece or part of it.

radiance- Something's radiance is a glowing light that shines from it.

dwindle- If something dwindles, it becomes smaller, weaker, or fewer in number.

auspicious- Something that is auspicious is a sign that more good things are on the way.

fleeting- If something is fleeting, it only lasts for a short time.

fathom- If you cannot fathom something, you can't understand it, no matter how much you think about.

newsworthy- Something that is newsworthy is interesting enough to be reported in newspapers, on the radio, or on television.
